"SPELLED"... NOT SPELT. Spelt is a grain- type of wheat. I am hoping this was supposed to be a "funny" mistake... but it didn't seem like it was ...???

@Katie, that is true in American English, but in other versions of English spelled and spelt are interchangeable. In fact, the Spelloween website was created by the British Council. Therefore their spelling is correct. This would be a great lesson for students when teaching globalization!

@Polly, that word itself has gone through some interesting changes in the past twenty years. The manner in which you are using it would be the slang version which actually originated in the 1990s.
