Educators and parents of the world rejoice, because YouTube Kids is here! YouTube Kids simplifies the YouTube experience and only allows students and children to access videos that are part of YouTube for Edu. So no longer will a scantily clad Katy Perry appear in your list of suggested videos or the weird videos of some guy opening up Kinder Surprise eggs, which my children are obsessed with.

This app also features a built in timer that you can activate. This handy little feature can be great when used in conjunction with classroom stations. Of course, you could just use Guided Access, but it is always nice to have multiple options.

Also, for you Android users out there, there is also a YouTube Kids for you!

It definitely will be helpful in getting those odd ball, sometimes inappropriate videos from appearing. Also, thank you for the positive comment :)

Where better to start then by reading The Lean Startup by Eric Ries – the founder of the Lean Startup methodology.
