Color Fractions

This app geared towards the Common Core 1st grade standard for fractions can really be used by any educator needing to help a student who is either learning or struggling to learn fractions.

Play Bank

This app is great to help students learn the important life skill of identifying and counting US paper currency. It is also updated to the newest images of the US paper currency.

Cash Register

Going a step above the Play Bank app, Cash Register uses paper and coin money. It also challenges students to give change to customers. This would be a great app to not only teach money recognition, but also employability skills.

Cutie Monsters - Alphabet Soup

Cutie Monsters challenges students to find the correct letter order in a bowl of soup. Students can either do upper or lower case letters. There is also a multiplier game making it great for classrooms where iPads are limited.

The StoryToys Jigsaw

Who doesn't love a good puzzle? This app features several different puzzles and designs all for free. It can also be done in pieces of 9, 20, 36, or 56, making this a great app for multiple ages.

Writing Practice

This is a simple app that allows you to select from multiple different types of paper to have students write on. Yup...that is about it. But hey, they are practicing writing so that is handy dandy!

Write with your Finger

This app is from the same developer of Writing Practice above. Actually, it is almost the exact same app except this one contains music bars and more detailed graph paper.

So if you dig music or graph paper, you'll like this app!
