This limited time free app allows you to use one iPad to track up to three students. What's My Reading Age focuses on testing students reading levels and is similar to a Cloze diagnostic test. Definitely worth picking this app up while you can!
Today we have another lower elementary gem free app alert gem from educator Jen Christy of Woodland Elementary. Drive About: Number Neighborhood is a math app that is focused for those students five and under. The app includes a variety of math activities, writing, counting, matching, and more! The app also encourages free play that allows a student to explore the world within the app. Students get to drive a variety of vehicles within interactive scenes. Today's free app alert comes from the amazing educator Jen Christy who teaches at Woodland Elementary. Tiggly Tales: Word Building & Storytelling Kids Game allows students to explore three letter words. They are allowed to try different letter combinations, and when they make a real word, they are rewarded with a entertaining animation. There is a feature to record a video using objects from the game, but I found it to be a tad buggy. The app overall though is great for younger elementary students or students with certain learning disabilities. |
